How about the American revolution, you may ask? The American revolution did not change the system, only who the system supported. It was a top-down revolution in all forms.

You can't change the system because humans always take the advantages that are presented to them. We have a biological drive to climb the hierarchy, and nothing can stop that. Some people climb that hierarchy by becoming fathers, roles models, and positive members of their community.
