Bronze Age Collapse 2

Old thread: Let’s talk about the similarities to the bronze age collapse and nowadays.
Now to the retards who misunderstood my thread.
Thebes was destroyed during the Bronze Age Collapse. It was an empire. If England gets wiped out and London remains that wouldn’t mean that London equals England would it? Troy was also destroyed during the Bronze Age Collapse, it had been destroyed many times during this era. Now onto the whole victorian revisionism of the so called dark ages, the idiots of the 19th century pertained to the notion that the middle ages in Europe was a loss of information however most of the Roman traditions were kept intact as with most of their knowledge intact within the Church that kept it hidden within their vast network of libraries. The Bronze Age Collapse lead to a true dark ages due to the fact the Mediterranean region got reset to nearly zero and the weakened remaining powers gave rise to the once subdued but now powerful in their own right fledgling nations. It is no mistake that this is the period which gave credence to the Old Testament narrative. Now the Philistines are a biblical name for the Sea Peoples that settled in Canaan through the mercy of King Ramses who defeated them at the Battle of the Delta. Reasons for the Bronze Age Collapse are mostly climate based but the destruction that the Sea Peoples brought cannot be underestimated. Let’s discuss anons.

Also the reason I mentioned that the mention of their existence in the Levant is mostly in the Talmud is factual, this is why it is rather funny to me.

Cool music for you anons, not related to the period.

abrupt deglobalization by any means can bring about collapse. I think modern states (especially self sufficient ones) have more of a capacity to withstand these things though.

>I think modern states (especially self sufficient ones) have more of a capacity to withstand these things though.
I think however civilizations are like a highly tuned machine, when one thing gets removed it has a knock on effect. All it needs is a little push.

>barges into your coastal village
>steals all gold
>rapes all sheep
>kidnaps all children, asks for ransom
>spills all milk jars on the ground
>shoots arrows at the milestones on the road
>feeds remaining citizens to pigs
>refuses to elaborate further
>leaves

What do you do?

It was the Habiru. They stormed the whole area and really wreaked havoc. You should read the Egyptian "priest's lament" which is the only first person narrative account of those times to survive.

In some cases I agree, but the damage done by the 'knock on effect' is related to how interdependent the nations are.

The bronze age collapse seemed to bring about the end of civilized life for a good while because all of the civilizations collapsed together. I think its unlikely that it could occur in modern times because some modern states (ie. Russia, USA) are not necessarily dependent on any global systems.
