Why does the left hate this so much?
Why does the left hate this so much?
Because they hate solutions.
Because it's self sustaining, clean, reliable and efficient
Because they watched chernobyl on hbo and got "nuclear bad" instead of understanding that communism bad
>they hate solution.
They always complain about abundant RENEWABLE energy without huge amounts of waste. Modern nuclear energy systems do exactly that, so why are they against it? Doesn't make sense to me.
It's safe and cheap too. Niggers still think we're using old tech and not molten salt reactors and thorium. I'll say it again, gatekeepers science and politics was correct. Average npcs have no place in those spheres because they're too stupid to understand them
It doesn't make sense, because the left doesn't care about making sense. Understand that the left are like entitled kids, they care only about their feelings and not about facts.
They don't trust the science.
Chernobyl goes into details about what security oversights and cut corners in production of nuclear technology in Russia allowed for Chernobyl to happen.
Nuclear energy is not a global solution. The idea that nuclear can have a reasonable impact on global energy supply is a just dripping with white privilege.
Nuclear is expensive, high technical, requires mature and domestic auxiliary industries, educated workforce, etc. The future will be powered by easy, low-to-no maintenance renewable solutions that can be implemented by low skill workers. There is no need to create more demand for whiteness.
"Modern," "Safe," Nuclear is still run by the same pansy beancounters as the problematic old nuclear.
They'll run it long after it is still "Modern" or "Safe." THAT'S a large part of the problem the "Left" and reasonable people have with nuclear.
because they are scared of everything
3/10 bait for making me reply
Well this is kind of the problem with democracy. The system grew more complex with technological progress and increased global trade and ideological exchange. Most Americans can’t point to 10 countries on a map, but they have the ability to vote for candidates with the power to destroy the entire world in nuclear destruction. Most Americans have no idea about how sustainable technologies to promote affordable energy work and the oil hegemony has created a PR campaign filled with disinformation to keep their positions of power.
Money can actually buy the beliefs of the stupid.
The same problems exist in the West, just from market driven factors instead of Muh Communusum
There are actually sustainable solutions that would be a better investment in most parts of the country
I don't believe in democracy anymore so I'm with you on that one buddy. My thoughts exactly
...
This but unironically, the world is too progressive to use nuclear safety.
are you saying that nuclear power is white power?
Checked… and you’re also correct.
Because it works
> they care only about their feelings and not about facts
Not true. They also care about asserting kike law.
Ah I see it's another case of
>we can't have nice things because niggers ruin everything
fpbp thread can end here.
Uhhh I don’t remember exactly what happened but I think the rods which release steam exhaust to cool the reactor were made with a metal that could not sustain the temperature due to cutting corners. They just melted and everything collapsed. It’s pretty obvious now that was an idiotic idea.
It’s was a really really really really really really really really simple problem to fix.
They don't even know what they're angry at. They're only angry at climate change because they're being told so, but they don't even understand climate change. The cathedral fear mongers nuclear energy because it is the best solution, but they don't want the best solution, they want what their lobbyists convinced them is the best solution.
Also never Amp link here again fsggot
Bravo sir, you win post of the day.
Hydroelectric is the only other competition but that's useless for any place not near a major river.
No he actually has a point. Nuclear systems require top notch maintenance, skills, expertise, and workers. A lot of countries around the world have horrible infrastructure organization already. Now imagine them integrating nuclear reactors into their already crumbling and overwhelmed grids.
Look at all that fucking smoke dude
nigga it's steam from the water being boiled. go learn your nuclear energy 101
They think they are smoke stacks
Chernobyl is what happened when you have a bunch of retarded party yes-men running a nuclear plant, which was cutting edge tech at the time. These days nuclear plants are perfectly safe, and even the one meltdown in japan wasnt a huge deal since it was contained and started to be cleaned IMMEDIATLY rather than just watching it destroy everything as they tried to cover it up.
that's steam baby.
fpbp
The left play on peoples fear by promising secuirty if you just comply.
Problem solved = power lost
I don't care about other countries. There's no reason canada, US, western europe, etc shouldn't be running nuclear. I dont give a fuck about the third world. Shitskins are going to hold humanity back until it destroys itself, Mr memeflag
>The same problems exist in the West
No they don't.
Western nuclear reactors are incredibly safe.
Only Soviet reactors were unsafe.
A runaway reaction like what happened at Chernobyl cannot physically happen in Western reactors.
Even if terrorists managed to get control over a Western reactor they wouldn't be able create a Chernobyl type of event, the laws of physics simply don't allow it.
stop them from subjugating the peasants
Lefties are coming around to uranium. Buy CCJ
Greedy jewish power company owners told them to.
they are grifters through and through
too retarded to understand that isn't smoke
I honestly think it's because back in the 60's leftist circles got nuclear weapons and nuclear energy conflated in their heads and thought that developing one was inherently developing another. That attitude has persisted to this day
Aaaacktually, It's drift.
Steam is water in gaseous form and it's invisible, drift is tiny water droplets.
Well the problem with your "modern" countries is that they are infected with retarded liberals that don't know shit about nuclear energy. So you guys are missing out big time on nuclear energy and it's benefits. Canada itself was the developer of the CANDU reactor, the most efficient reactor design.
Brutal.
They are no different than the cops they hate so much.
and most importantly, affordable.
they fucking hate all of it
>911
You're not offering any solutions. You're just saying we shouldn't use nuclear because we prop up niggers. There's still enough whites to run them. Now show flag before I entertain you any further
It’s not entirely wrong. The technology could be reappropriated for warfare - yet if nuclear becomes the solution to climate change it would be seen as ethical to give opponents the technology to create more sustainable energy. That could also result in more nations have nuclear - which would further complicate global structures and increase the risk of global nuclear disaster.
If we solve the problem, they will loose their excuse for powergrab.
>Why does the left hate this so much?
Because they saw a movie called The China Syndrome in the 70s. I'm not even kidding.
My dad's turbo lefty girlfriend said we shouldn't make nuclear power plants because what if they get bombed in a war. Typical woman moment of
>It's not perfect so we might as well just give up
I hate that mentality so much
Nuclear energy isn't sustainable at the current level of tech. We'll run out of uranium before we run out of oil
leftists think that that vapor leaving the power plant is radioactive, no joke
>Look at all that fucking smoke dude
Idiots like you are why we don't have clean nuclear energy.
>uranium
we use thorium in modern reactors. Can't even pretend to know what he's talking about kek
Why are you making up imaginary people and opinions in your head?
uranium is way longer lasting though. We need far less of it for the same effect as oil. Necessity is also the mother of invention, so if we use uranium, theoretically we will figure out a way to recycle the spent rods (something that people are already working ont)
My question is: if one of the biggest political discussions of the past 10 years is renewable sustainable energy, why hasn't the nuclear route been explored? It fits all the criteria and is very efficient. It seems to me like both sides of the political game are against nuclear technology because of a few accidents or just plain lies.
thorium is used in some reactors
democracy should work... but the people are retarded
youtube.com
they hate nuclear energy in the US, can't deny that
