Think about it, how many times have we almost went to nuclear war? Like atleast 3 times. And it was always resolved the last minute, thats just too big of a coincidence. What i think is happening everytime something catastrophic happens, our counciousness jumps to another universe where everything went okay and we all died in another universe. Thats why "nothing ever happens" because only sligtly bad things are allowed to happen that dont kill us.

Rather like you live in a simulation of a possible past timeline where nothing ever happens but it is always on the brink of happening to keep whoever is observing it tuned for the next show. This is probably a large-scale experiment 10.000 years in the future, metaverse on steroids, guided by an almost omnipotent and omniscient AI (the "archons" the original gnostics observed when they trippedout). Only a few of us are actually "player characters", the labrats which are experimented on, while the large majority is pre-programmed NPCs. Universe around us is rendered as we observe it. Sometimes shit glitches out (glitches in the matrix), sometimes when they drop a new patch, they are sloppy (Mandela effect). When you "die", you respawn in a new body (re-incarnation), sometimes it's fucked up and you wake up in a body in the past (explains all the prophecies, people remebering their past "lives" in the future). Also explains why our observable "universe" is entirely electric in nature. Jesus Christ was one of the few guys who made it here from the real world and tried to warn us about what is going on. How many times does he say that "he is not of this world", that his disciples are "in this world, but not of this world", that you should love nothing in this world, because it is the playground of evil forces (Lucifer), that you are just "strangers and pilgrims" here. Those here with a soul are "real", the rest is all just a shadow. This is, on a spiritual level, a testing ground for your soul. The hylics have no chance of salvation, i.e. ever leaving this realm, they will go down with it when the plug is finally pulled.

Yes, then the animalistic primal fear takes over. It's the same thing in an emergency situation where people know they're about to die, like a plane crash or a battle. People larp as skeptics, but when the bad things start to happen, and people face the uncertainty that comes with death the inner animal takes over. They'll pray to whoever is meaningful to them. But isn't it fucking stupid to only approach the metaphysical when in complete fear? This is one of the biggest things I dislike about the jewish/zoroastrian approach to faith that is predominant. Is that what spirituality and religion be resigned to? Living a completely materialistic/empirical based life, only to realize it means fuck all when you're facing Nothing and Infinity?
