I need advice on getting my first Job...

I need advice on getting my first Job. A few months ago I walked into a target to ask for one but had a panic attack and backed out at the last second.

How do I overcome this social anxiety. It's really embarrassing that I act this way over such a shit teir job that even the lowest of Jamals can get.

Drink alcohol before going

I'm 19. Can't get any.

Repetition. Just go in for interviews to practice. It’s okay bro. There’s worse out there.

What's an interview like?

Just give up now. It never goes away, and the longer you fight it, the more miserable you will be. This world isn’t for us, our minds reject it at a base level because we know this isn’t how we’re suppose to live. Be proud you’re not an NPC, lean into it, stop trying to give a fuck about a world that hates you to your core.

So you are allowed to work but not to drink?

Go work outside. For a landscaper, or a gutter company, or roofing. Something that calluses your hands up

You can only exercise bravery if you have fear.

Stop thinking about yourself so much
It's not narcissism, you're just tripping on your own shadow
If you have to, write everyone else off in a way that divorces you from the stakes of a conversation going one way or another. Easier said than done I know, it's like saying "bee yourself", but maybe just give up, accept that people will think you're a spaz anyway, and then all the pressure is off and people will see you as confident and you'll get what people mean when they say "stop caring", but you'll integrate it
>ex spaz who was isolated for years and couldn't hold a conversation

Yes. Legally you can start working at 16, some exceptions can be made for those who are 13 years old too. 21 is the legal drinking limit. I think that's a good thing too.

Imagine how nervous Hitler was when he stood up to give his first speech.

That’s fucked up.

2 people (sometimes more) sit in a room for about 20-30 minutes and lie toeeachother.

Thanks user. Been thinking of getting a gym membership too because I've heard that it'll help me fit into my own skin better.

Yep this

Pretty much this, fuck

Propanolol & Diazepam.

Do I need a Résumé/CV for a retail job or is just answering interview questions good enough?

Helps to have a Resume.

It's a good idea to have something, but no it doesn't have to be super extensive for such a job.

Not taking benzos lol.
What is Propanolol though?

Okay thank you. What about references? Do I need those?

Depends how loose and flabby it is :)
Doing anything positive in a routine will help out, but being a shy gym bro alone won't help. You need to know that you're competent at things, and actually be confident. None of the self help "fat and beautiful" shit for women helps. But telling people not to care if they're shy is like telling depressed people to count their blessings and snap out of it, or fat people to eat less and exercise more. They know it already, so that's not the problem. Framing shyness or things like phonecallphobia as rude can help too, because you're assuming that someone is
(a thinking about you more than they probably are
and
(b assuming they're thinking negative thoughts about you, because you don't like you either, so why should they?

If you know someone that works there no you don’t need one. It’s been awhile since I’ve applied to a retail job but I think most online applications ask pretty basic stuff.

I don't have any friends and I've heard that using family for references is a bad idea.

It's a beta-blocker. It blocks your adrenaline hormones so it means that when you get nervous and get the shakes etc. you won't show it physically at all. So you won't shake at all or appear nervous even if you still feel like a nervous mess on the inside.

If that's all you got then that's all you got. Ask your parents or a family friend. Did you used to mow anyone's lawn or anything? Cause asking them is usually a good idea.

That's murrica for you. Old enough to work, kill or porn themselves out, but drinking is the devil.

Probably a good idea to put something together, remember that it's really about presentation and not the content itself, you just have to get across that you're a normal person and not some freak who'll be a burden on them

100 mg of thiamine

Take with some soda or juice
