I've seen them since I was a child and the only reason you see them now is that you are doing something analogous to manual breathing. If you just stop focusing on them or focus your visual attention elsewhere, your visual system should automatically filter it out. It's impossible to know what you're seeing but hundreds or thousands of visual artifacts are also possible to see. However those wouldn't be eye floaters. I can see something like white noise if I want to, and that's also harmless.
