Critical Race Theory in maths textbooks

>Florida Gives Examples After Math Books Rejected for CRT, Other Issues
>The department said they rejected 54 textbooks out of the 132 submitted, about 41%
>One example shows a bar graph with the heading "Measuring Racial Prejudice, by Age" with a second bar graph titled "Measuring Racial Prejudice, by Political Identification."
This is worse than teaching kids this directly because there's no discussion. Kids implicitly trust what they come across in textbooks. They won't know that the implicit association test is bullshit and that it doesn't even know what it's measuring. It certainly doesn't predict racial prejudice in practice. Yet, the kids aren't taught this. It's slipped in subliminally as the teacher is focused on polynomials. They come away thinking white people are really racist, especially conservatives. They get half a picture, and a distorted half at that due to the IAT being bullshit. No where is the in-group preference among minorities mentioned.

The purpose of this section is to teach polynomials. They can do it without pushing an ideological viewpoint. For people on the left defending this, simply ask them if it'd be acceptable to use crime or IQ stats instead. They'll suddenly see the issue with that, but go on saying this is OK because it's pushing their ideology and their ideology is the one true ideology.

I doubt they'd go for this, despite it being more inclusive of the black experience.

You literally have no idea what critical race theory is.

>Based on our research, we rate TRUE the claim that a public school in Missouri assigned math problems that reference Angelou’s sexual abuse and sex work. The school district said the assignment was taken from an online platform for educators and has been removed from the course.

Take a look at the Seattle school district curriculum. It's totally batshit crazy.

You literally have no idea what normal live is.

You have to be joking.

I thought they were already doing this.

Kek! That picture is gold.

this is american education in the 21st century. i applaud this curriculum

This is what you get when you mix nigger and white people.

Just curious, are there realy no sane leftists left in the world? And if there are why aren't they commenting against this?

They are the ones pushing this. They are the ones that need to be dealt with.

disgustingly evil

This is really abhorrent and 54 out of the 132 what the fuck. Just goes to show they were taught this lense in college and just run everything through it thinking they are educated.

Even when they're not pushing an agenda, they're pushing "feelings".

2 + 2 = People of Color are oppressed by white supremacy.

I bet one thing that 'math' book would not have is a breakdown of who's racist by their own ethnic grouping.

So, as per usual, their solution to the non-issue of no black representation is to have exclusively black representation. Insignificant mathematicians at that.

shut up faggot. isn't it almost time to kill yourself?

>nigger-jew

It's a beautiful thing

Some books were also rejected for pushing some nonsense called social-emotional learning.
>“If you asked 100 C.E.O.s what skills they want in a new hire, the top five skills are going to be about social-emotional learning — not algebra,” he said.
>“Are you a nice person to talk to? Are you going to be a good co-worker?” Professor Dohrer added. “We know that the best way to teach that is to combine it with math, social studies, whatever.”
It's always teaching schools that push this crap. Yeah, professors at college are biased, but the admin staff who have gone through these teaching schools are far worse. They were indoctrinated into this stuff.
