I think you're very very wrong, but I concede it's speculation from my end as well. I think evolutionarily, women really aren't fit to decide not to get fucked by someone who is attractive or displays wealth if they have the choice. Same with guys, guys just have it worst because in the world we live in guys are less attractive than girls physically, and since we have so many distractions to deal with these days, men's resourcefulness naturally decreases as well.
It's like that idea where if you have a group of people who have been oppressed for centuries and then stop oppressing them, they'll still not be equal because everyone else has a huge head start compared to them. Men are the evolutionarily oppressed group when it comes to physical attraction in our modern society, so they suffer a lot more, from a median standpoint.
