Russia has infinitely more arguments, reasons, and justifications for its illegal war of aggression against Ukraine. The only two overlaps are the (i)legal aspects and the motive to control energy resources and markets, everything else is a whole other ball game when comparing these two, especially the security aspect, on which Russia is completely in the right. There's also the matter of millions of Russians living in Ukraine, which is something Amerimutts will never understand because A) They aren't a nation in any meaningful sense B) They have never in their history fought a war to defend their people.

No. 1: No one cared about people who were stuck hundreds of years in the past. No. 2: the US media showed the middle east in a negative light years before so it's easy to get people to agree to an invasion.
Meanwhile, the US media spent some time on Ukraine, showing it in a positive light (2014) and blasting Russia on everything Russia did during the time from then to now (example being Syria). People only saw the good side of Ukraine thanks to the western media (not them shelling Donbas of course) and they aren't living in the stone age and they do things other Europeans do. So, it's easy to make it look good for the normies. Easy to relate to them than Middle Easterners. If people actually used their brain, they would realize it's nothing different, people are dying, civilians and soldiers. And your regular "innocent" people in western countries froth at the mouth whenever the perceived "enemy" dies as evidenced by the emoji reactions to Ukrainians killing soldiers, with thumbs up and hearts. There is no good to any of this but humans will always be their bloodthirsty way. People are anti-war until they're not.
