>Saudi Arabia an emerging superpower?
No.
Superpower?
People throw that term around way too freely.
Its debatable whether there has been more than one true superpower in all of history.
Arguably only the US has held such global hegemony. There's a case that the British Empire did for a while, but it wasn't as dominant during the Pax Britannica as the US has been during Pax Americana.
Before that claims of 'superpower' status are laughable. Rome, Imperial China and the Caliphates were obviously very powerful, but not global (not even close).
China might plausibly become a superpower, India has a vague chance, but Saudi Arabia? You wish.
You've got oil, that's it, everyone knows it. The petroleum age is coming to an end.
Saudi Arabia has an economy smaller than Australia or Canada, despite having a population larger than either.
Generations of the state subsidizing the citizenry has made your populace obese and lazy.
The rest of the muslim world aren't willing to accept your religious authority either, because they know how hypocritical your princely class are, the arch-hedonists of a decadent age.
It's not even an emerging superpower.
They are an established one.
Just look at Yemen. Saudi bought the best military hardware from the West (thanks for that) and has an enormous supply of oil and capital to fuel the war. The war is literally right next door and the Yemenis are poor as shit. However you can't even pacify that one little country. All you've done is bomb the shit out of the people and destroy their ancient treasures.
Shit take, as to be expected from a retarded mountain-kike. In what way are they a superpower? They've got the 18th largest economy.
If Saudi Arabia is a superpower than so are Mexico, Indonesia, Iran and Italy, which all have larger economies.
The fuck is this bullshit post
Get the fuck out of here.
Well, maybe it means Nintendo will be even less likely to put faggots in their games, unless they make a roof simulator.
Checked.
I'm not sure what the fuck OP is trying to say.
The only thing the Saudis have going for them is their oil. Their military is shit, they have no real allies, and they have a population that is about to go broke.
Saudi Arabia is the new Switzerland
The Saudi military is literally the only reason they can project power into Yemen. If they had to do it without that, they would be just another poor country with no power.
They probably want a stake in everything just so they can stamp down any attempt to besmirch Muhammad.
your dad owns nintendo?
Saudi Arabia is not an emerging superpower, they're an established one.
SUPER MARIO OIL DRILL
YAHOO YIPEE WAHOO
The Sauds are smart enough to know that they have no future economically, they have a large fund that exists entirely to make their vast sums of wealth make them money over time, but once Oil is gone they won't be in control of their country, they won't be able to pay people off to not revolt.
Super powers make their own weapons and food and don't have foreign bases.
much more booba than otherwise
