I only ever see Muslims talk about the "evils of gambling" and sports betting. Regular folk and those on Any Forums seem to have no opinion at all even though we have seen countless men's lives destroyed and many left destitute after throwing away everything in the bookies.
The other addictions like alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, porn, etc are mentioned often but gambling seems to be totally ignored unless it is being dealt with from a religious perspective. Is Any Forums even pro-gambling or doesn't really care either way?
Games of chance are degenerate, but anything with a significant player skill component is fine imho desu.
