I dropped windows 7 for Ubuntu 3 years ago when I built a new gig, everything I need (programming) works very well (even better) on Linux. For games, there are more and more native Linux ports and wine/proton/lutris which run 90% of games conveniently.

I use MyPinos as my operating system. It's the only OS that lets you use a joystick as its primary interface. And you won't believe its GUI.
