What are the political implications of this BEING THE COOLEST FUCKING THING I HAVE SEEN IN THE LAST 10 YEARS??!?!
I need this in my life. Why is this not a fucking thing yet? Would I trade in my car for this?
The fucking greenies want me to turn in my car? Not saying "Yes", but I would seriously consider it, for one of these with a few caveats - but I want to hear what you all have to say first.
Thoughts? Would you trade in your car for a speeder-bike?
What's wrong with old reliable? You trust your life to all that newfangled tech when this bad baby will get you there just as well minus all the bugs hitting your face lolz... Flying is great and the flying car already exists.... its called a helicopter.
Thanks mate. I've flown once or twice, in a training plane with a qualified pilot at the controls and he was instructing me. But this... this is just amazing. I rode motorcycles for awhile - just the feeling of freedom makes you grin. I know this is impractical, but still...
Ryan Powell
If you ever flew an RC helicopter and then an RC Drone, you would get it.
Wind here is currently 42k with gusts of 72k. I would not want to be in your personal lightweight whirlybird atm.
Liam Clark
Don't they have a history of cutting off their own tails with their rotor if you pitch too much, I'd personally go for either a Mosquito or a UH-1 Huey
Jose Rogers
Audible kek
Caleb Edwards
how is it a "speeder"? it barely hits 50 it's a sorta cool toy I guess
Cameron Edwards
I like the concept but it looks like it would be very hard to fly
Kayden Miller
The engineer in me wants to see if it can be weaponized.
Dylan Russell
If you watch the BitChute vid, it makes this speeder-bike like noise as it goes by... kind of a HOOOO! noise.. sounds cool, if legit.
Blake Campbell
It's an early adopter thing with very short range 9about 20 minutes), but it's still very cool.
It's as expensive as a small one or two seater piston powered helicopter, but much easier to pilot and probably cheaper to own.
Benjamin Jones
Machine gun in the nose. Already been done brah
Caleb Reyes
By the time the rotor hits the tail the aircraft already must be out of control. Just don't do a low g push over my guy. Don't think that a quad or octa rotor craft doesn't have limits. You bank that thing too hard and you are going to break off the rotors. There is no true omnidirectional aircraft, tho some people are working on it.
So cool. These things are going to get regulated to hell.
I can already imagine Americans hunting boars in these.
Jacob Hill
>the R22 can fly its self Where does it choose to fly to?
Cameron Collins
Huey tended to plow it's main rotor off if you went into a too steep dive.
Mason Sullivan
I was thinking short range missiles.
Nicholas Ramirez
I can imagine South Africans hunting Boers in these.
Isaac Perez
as if youre not travelling inside a metal ball going 100km/h daily
Oliver Sullivan
No it uses drone parts so it literally self leveling T drone fag
William Cook
On that design one is enough because you have to turn it's counterpart off too. If your car runs out of fuel or has an engine failure you die because of the roadside bandits, not because the machine kills you.
Cooper Rogers
Side by side: Jetson ONE: Flight time : 20 minutes Top level flight speed : software limited to 102km/h (63mph) R22 beta: Max Endurance: 3 hours (approx.) Velocity never exceed: 102 kts
Better question, can the jetson ONE autorotate? Can't find an answer... neither can the v22 osprey so maybe its not a big deal anymore lol
So basically it's a flying battery I kinda figured. But still Proof of concept - the Model A eventually led to one of the most beautiful cars of all time - the 1967 Ford GT500. Patience.
Ayden Wilson
You probably still can land with one engine failure.
Jacob Sullivan
In the USA this fits the standards to be defined as an 'ultralight aircraft' which means you do not need a license to operate it.
