Plus, the feds forced a takeover of the land to restrict the spread of the Saints - we all live on reservations (Saints, Gentiles, Utes, Goshutes, Navajos - everyone).
We each have our own militias.
This keeps things relatively quiet and everyone in check - good fences makes good neighbors.

Michigan's law about not being able to train with firearms for the potential of civil conflict seems like it's an infringement on self expression and freedom of association and movement.
