1. Counter-offensives are expensive in terms of manpower and equipment so we haven't seen any major ones yet.
2. In the limited capacity that we have seen them, they have been very effective (see Feint of Kiev and Feint of Kharkiv)
3. We have seen limited russian advances since the first two weeks of the war except for the Izum front, where ukies will attempt to push them out soontm

Difference is russia has domestic support not traitors behind the lines but whatever helps the cope
