The western world is fatter in general than the bulk of Africa and Asia. The fattest regions of America are in the south, where southerners have a fattening food culture. Do the math, the large percentage of African Americans still reside in the Southern part of the USA, obesity central. It skews the percentage. Had they been raised up North or closer to us over in Canada. They most likely would not be as fat as rednecks
