How are you guys doing on food with these prices?
I got some lamb for 6.99 a pound and some sourdough bread at sprouts. So this meal is like 4 dollars. A chick fil a sandwich alone is 5.05 (when it used to only be 3.24 lol)
I hope you guys aren’t paying wagies to “prepare” subpar food for you
Also lamb is the superior meat

When guys be like
>yeah I can cook, women love it
fuel prices are the killer for me, but food going 50-100% was not pleasant. finding rice is getting difficult.
finding anything for less than $.10/ounce is near impossible. 2x overnight.
well this meal costs more than my other daily meals, i'm going to eat farm eggs and yogurt and then make a smoothie later. I prefer to pay under 10-15 dollars for a day of food.
fine. summer is here.
i live on an island where i have unlimited access to sea fishing (can catch big pollock or cod on nearly every cast, abundant mackerel) and goose shooting (greylags), and i can get free/very cheap venison. i also have my own creels/lobster pots out which are fairly productive.
plus i can get very cheap vegetables from my neighbours, or barter meat/fish for them. even if i have to buy them, veg hasn't gone up much in price.
i'm cooking for myself right now, not garnishing my dishes with fancy gay shit lol
make friends with some local farmers and maybe help them out 1-2 times a month for some free eggs if you are really struggling
wow. yeah. 2 years ago I could get by on $5/day. I do eat alot of beans.
incredibly based lifestyle
are you good at making refried beans? Chili is good too
>I live on an island.
No shit
>that pic
>a meal
pick one
yup. that's a fantastic choice.
also, community dinner (pitch-in) is a great way to keep food in your belly. get a church or just get your neighbors to share a hot meal once a week.
gonna be a good year to grow veggies.
meat is free and plentiful here
lol.
i mean an island off the British mainland.
what would you add to make it a meal of your liking?
Meal looks fine to me. I do these open faced burgers on sourdough that look similarly "basic" although I do at least add cheese.
Obv make sure to freeze the bread so that none goes to waste
I didn’t know deer just lounged alongside the road like that. No wonder so many of them get hit.
I love sprouts. Like whole foods but cheaper. Does your store still have sliced roast beef?
i eat my own shet
My burgers are thinner, and I hate the Antichrist
I spend about $25/day on food. Eat right.
