It would be like asking, if our technology is so advanced we can fly to other plants (hypothetically), why haven't we cured cancer yet? Some challenges are just really freaking hard and you need quadrillions of dollars in funding to solve them.
Because while they do control nearly all media outlets and government institutions, they can't just enslave the world at a snap of the finger. Think how you have millions of boomers who are "armed and ready" for when they take their guns. But that's just the thing, they know this, and they know they can't simply suppress a rebellion if they overstepped in their policy making. So what do they do? They subvert. They've been doing this for around 100 years in America if I had to guess, by changing people's ideas of morality, promoting racemixing, etc. On the current path america is going, I would estimate within 30 years, most of America will be about like California is today, if not much much worse.

By the way, subversion is not just the joos thing, it's the only viable strategy in this kind of situation. When the enemy is too numerous to fight directly, you confuse them by subtly moving boundaries around, making them gradually forget what is it that was suppose to be defended. This causes infighting, as some of your enemy starts to defend your new poisoned position instead of the original one, making them fight the ones who still remember correctly.
This is the only viable plan that you could come up with given these objectives and it works.
