When will boomer employers finally understand?

>natasha
definitely loves anal

Things were so much easier when women just stayed at home.

>Go 8 years to college
>Get an entry-level position pushing paper 40 hours a week
>Spend 5 years treading sand as a career
>Prozac no longer working, can't up the dose
>Break down shitting and screaming in a Subway
>Get a cat and spend two years in Krhattabrahmakradesh to take drugs and "heal"
I hate women

has natasha made a single commit in her entire career? no? oh, she's in marketing? that's hard.

I tell boomers what to do now. They can't do shit. They can't even fire me. I do what I want. It's over for them.

Burnout's definitely a huge deal, but I don't understand the point of this thread.

Thinking about quitting work to be a neet for a while

>Dad dies of cancer in 2020
>Mom has cancer too, landlords force her out
>I move her and my sister out all on my own to my grandmas, where I live
>Miss work and fall behind
>Mom fights the cancer but can't beat it
>She dies and I have to handle all that
>No other family members help because they're scared of COVID
>They only call to ask about getting things dad or mom had
>Fall behind work even more
>Just found out grandma has cancer also and she wont decide on treatment

That's 3 in a row holy shit life just keeps on taking
But your family definitely needs some sense beaten into them

I'm so sorry user

Imagine working for somebody else

I'm a boomer and I've been a burnout case for a long time between a demanding career and a extremely dysfunctional family who live in a rural area. Mom legit had multiple personality disorder. Boomer friends and silent gen bosses just don't get it.

who doesnt?

Inherit it all and dont share

Pussy

Burnout is the reason why your political elite worship Satan and drink baby blood.

You gotta have new thrills.

Burnout is a real thing though, mentally I can hardly wake up for work because I know how badly I am getting fucked and paying for my own replacement, WHITE REPLACEMENT

Sorry mate. Be strong.

>Implying that all the money didn't go to medical bills

>Needs prozac to cope the grueling 40 hour work week
Germany obviously isn't the powerhouse it once was...

I'm just about to pay the last outstanding medical bill. Still have plenty left over with an investment account and my own 401k I haven't even touched yet. Work has been treating me so shitty over my missed time I'm considering getting everything in order then giving my two weeks. I'd rather be around to help my family rather than split my time between them and a "lean crew" shithole of a work place.

I am a boomer, and I can confirm that burnout is a thing. I worked hard all my life and have been very successful, but I also burned out on the work.

I quit my job as a consultant to focus on my family. I have been doing some consulting work from home now. It is much better, and I don't feel the stress that I did in my previous job.

The problem is that you can't just stop working and go on welfare. I am self-employed, and I need to make money to support myself and my family. I have to be self-employed because I would never get a job again after I got fired for being a dickhead.

So, I have to keep working. But I have a very demanding job. I am doing some work from home now, but it is still stressful.

tl;dr:

Work hard and you will burn out. If you burn out, then you have to quit. You can't just keep working.

My dad retired and is 61, going to get a part time job and collect his pension. Burn out is real but he's always said 'no workie no eatie' because some italian told him that a long time ago when they were mowing lawns.
it's more of a fuck your feelings approach, if your a man you will work, despite being burnt out.

I'm sending you some strength, user
My advice on taking a NEET break is that you should do it with certain precautions
It should be long enough that the end isn't looming over you from the beginning and you're mentally counting down your days of freedom, like it would be if you were merely taking a vacation or if you had a long weekend away from work; if it's too short, you won't be able to truly recharge
I think this time period is at least four to six months
You should also attempt to arrange some sort of "sure thing" job that you can pick up that will pay the bills at the end of your planned NEETdom
If you have in-demand skills this isn't absolutely necessary, but it will still allow you to have less weighing on your mind during your break
And finally, it's good to designate a period at the beginning of your break to be a lazy asshole waking up at 4 PM eating pizza in bed, day drinking when the mood strikes, etc. in order to get it out of your system and blow off steam
Obviously if you have destructive habits know yourself and keep yourself in check, but I think it's important with burnout to give yourself a period of time where you have as close to zero demands on your time as possible and you give in to your impulses within reason after being denied real leisure for so long

most of the world's work is done by people who aren't feeling very well

Same reason as all the other slide threads.

just be yourself

Don't give up bro if you can overcome this nothing will ever have you fucked up again.
