Yeah it's actually pretty true. The large, large majority of us here, aren't active in politics IRL. We talk about it here, may bitch about stuff to our close friends, even get demoralized by all the absolute insanity in modern society, but it's all just fake and gay bullshit. 1. Cow milk is one ingredient in baby formula, it's not sufficient for an infant's nutrition needs alone. It's massively short in iron as well as a number of other vitamins (hence the big list of added nutrients in the ingredients he posted).
2. Cows milk alone causes intestinal bleeding, increased risk of diabetes and a number of other health problems in infants. Not to mention raw milk has a number of strains of bacteria a babies immune system can't deal with (hence why even historically, if people had to feed it to infants they boiled it first).
He could have just talked to anyone working in healthcare or did 5 minutes of research before doling out dangerous advice on what to feed infants based on intuition and the number of trisyllabic words he counted in the formula ingredients, but apparently the next phase of right-wing health quackery is giving your baby kidney failure to own the libs.

I argued online about my field of expertise with a mong. They do this thing where they argue a peripheral point to win an argument. I felt bad in the end because they make it very personal when you point out they're wrong and that they could influence people for the worse. In the end, you expose yourself to a ton of abuse and to toxic narcissistic trannies. I'm not sure it's worth enduring to benefit non frens.

What is unnatural and abnormal is obsessing about things happening thousands of miles away. What is unnatural and abnormal is global supply lines, global governance, and a world population interconnected by mass media and easy travel. Only in these abnormal conditions can a “Syrian refugee crisis” cause dramatic demographic change in Europe. Only in these conditions can a shooting spree in America cause a domino effect of censorship and copy-cat “hate speech” laws across the West. Only in these conditions can an isolated, relatively small-scale conflict in Eastern Europe cause global food and energy shortages.
Unfortunately, these abnormal conditions are the ones which we’ve been living in for the past 100 years. It’s not very healthy and we can see that lots of people are driven insane living like this, and things have only got worse with increased globalisation.

The default position of most people is to care only about what’s going on in their neck of the woods. That's what I'm talking about. That is my field, healthcare, and my argument was that there are precise indications for prescribing formula, not volition. If it's prescribed it's because there are a few contraindications to breastfeed, say the mom has HIV (in the first world) or is taking some meds, the kid is intolerant, etcetera. You can even fortify human milk for premature babies and pasteurize it and stuff. So the formula not being available is going to mess some kids up if you can't find donor milk. But whatever, the point is, you get a ton of abuse for nothing.
