I remember my youth consisting of pretty much only seeing white people. Now, my neck of the woods is full of blacks, muslims, asians, hispanics, and a million different unidentifiable half-breeds. It's also way more dangerous and shittier than it was back then too. I didn't hear about it. I experienced it.
If I go to the gym on a weekday afternoon because it fits my schedule, the basketball court will always be full of minority guys in their 20's and 30's playing pickup basketball. They don't even work. Yet, all I'm told is that diversity is a strength.
