They never asked to come to America. They aren't American, because America is a nation of whites and only whites can really feel American. They aren't African, because they've forgotten their own history. They have no past and can have no pride over their past.
A people without a sense of history and past is a people unmoored from themselves. Black people have no country, and it's no wonder they hate whites and resist American-ness the only way they can: refusing to be part of America, refusing to "succeed" in a white man's country, and making life as unpleasant as possible for everyone who isn't black. I don't really blame them.

I unironically feel bad for them, too. It'd take a brave one to go back to Africa, give up American wealth. It'd be better for their children, though - better sense of identity.
