I apologize for using a flag which is supposed to symbolize freedom from monarchy (which early america was) but when I say I love freedom and democracy, I’m not talking about a place but an idea.
An idea older than america and older than the kings and queens of Europe. You could see this idea first materialized in Ancient Greece and the Roman Republic (as imperfect as both systems were) an idea which exists only in the minds of men and has arguably never been truly achieved.
