Statements such as picrel are so tiresome. I know it's not directly related to the Ukrainian crisis, but these statements are based on it, and under the surface they are aimed at Russia and Belarus. Yet today's Lithuania is completely divided. A strong society doesn't exist, not anymore; people are absolutely apathetic. It is such a free and democratic country that one can express only an approved opinion by the government. Good luck saying anything even vaguely in support of Russia. I do not doubt the military itself would be eager to oppress the citizens for the interests of the "independent" Lithuania. The only voices that come through are the voices of our parliament members who are just speakers for their scriptwriters in Washington and Brussels. Why else would they be so insane to name Russia a terrorist state? They do indeed want war with Russia. They desire it and thus, they want to instill faux patriotism in the nation so they could die for the interests of their masters.
One thing that is truly amusing in all of this is the people who claim they support national interests, whether Lithuanian or of any other Western country (let's be honest, Lithuania became one, just look at the values of our government), but they name Russia as the evil number one, saying that democracy is still a thing in the west. Guess this makes it easy to filter people, just like the vaccines did.
didn't they publish that Russian soldiers were doing something like 10 rapes per solider per day a few weeks ago? there probably isn't even any time to fight if they spent that much time raping...
