It is increasingly difficult to position oneself economically under current conditions. For a middle class man who does not own millions in different assets, real estate, etc, it is increasingly difficult to get out of the hole that is being dug.
All historical evidence depicts that we are coming to the end of a cycle, and that a great recession is coming. The problem is that it is impossible to know exactly when such a recession will happen. It could be this year, but it could be 10 years from now. It is possible that the world governments will collaborate (globohomo) to keep the status quo going for a long time, and the only thing that can really cause a disruption in such planning are unexpected events.
Except that how can you, as a normal man, know when such an unexpected event will happen?
There is no way. You can simply observe the signs and try to use the best of your judgment to define at what moment there is more chance of such an event happening. Preparing too much in advance can cause you to miss financial opportunities (if you have parked all your assets in silver and gold in the last 15 years you have effectively lost purchasing power), but not preparing and leaving all your assets in equities leaves you exposed to a tremendous risk.
So the best you can do is to try to allocate your resources in a balanced way, having the flexibility to rebalance such allocations in the short term if some Black Swan event happens.
Particularly today in 2022 I believe it is irresponsible not to have at least a small percentage of your assets in precious metals (silver mostly which is much more accessible to the middle class) and cryptocurrency (read monero and bitcoin, maybe ethereum if you believe in tokenizing a decentralized financial market).
It is vitally important that you, as a sovereign citizen, find ways to store your wealth in assets that are unreachable by the State.
