yes. this style of architecture was popular in cultures influenced by iranian culture. Modern Iran, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, etc...
even if they have their differences or if some of them were influenced by other cultures such as the Russian or Soviet ones. they still retain the influence of islamic iranian culture.
