like all politics, its a fad, usually fads are limited to just either democrats or republicans and you go with your side's view on things. the ukraine war though is a bipartisan issue (with even mcconnell, senate minority leader and our other senator ofc, calling out paul to virtue signal), where with the media slant almost every single person, including people who usually dont care about politics, feel obligated to support ukraine, if you even somewhat hinder us helping ukraine from big bad russia you will instantly get a look like you just raped someone's daughter.

Honestly, although we really need all the support we can get ASAP, even I agree it's probably for the better to delay and ask for an oversight. That way it's more likely that more of the money will actually go towards helping us, and not just to some politicians' pockets.
And uhhh, sorry for getting all that money in the first place. I know there are many domestic issues in America that these funds could've been put towards resolving, but it is quite literally a life or death situation for us here, without any jokes or embellishment. I sincerely hope most of it will be put to good use here, and at the very least it is going to a good and just cause.
