i went to a very multiracial private school and considered myself far right until after my first year of university. in high school lots of the guys who lifted or were in sports teams (I was a swimmer personally) were either far right or apolitical, and from what I can tell on social media a fair few of them still hold by those ideals. I became disenchanted with politics in general as I went through university. I think the extreme sides of the political spectrum tend to prey on people with low critical thinking skills and just produce insufferably dense people who are incapable of entertaining the idea that they might be wrong. I am also vaxxed, I say what some consider slurs (retard, tranny etc.) pretty regularly but so do most people I've met at this university (it is the most right wing university in my country). I don't have the energy to hate trans people or others just for who they are, but I dislike people who show animosity towards white people and I'm pretty open about saying that to their faces. At the end of the day I vote for the left wing party because I think they make life materially better for me and I'm self interested, but I don't really care for poor people. I also hate fatties for draining this country's health services and depressed people and the like piss me off too. The only vaguely political ideal I care about and personally try to uphold anymore is ecology.
I don't know I was pretty active in activism on racism, sexism and helping out the homeless. Now I just can't help but thinking we're wasting resources on this garbage shit when we can use it for better things. Social programs are a huge meme. Or maybe my country just implements them like shit.
Hard to say. I think that we are seeing a resurgence in ancient despotism. Castrating children (transgenderism), limiting speech, trying to take weapons so the citizens can't protect themselves. I think most wealth from western countries is being stolen by a small few oligarchs. I think most politicians are gay and weak.

The reason probably has to do with the nature of social movements, which is that they are underpinned by a sense of urgency, i.e. that things desperately need to change. Apathy in others undermines that and can create a cognitive dissonance and an emotive reaction. What's worse for people caught up in social movements is if you meet them on the level of urgency by acknowledging that they are right, but stake your political apathy on the grounds that nobody can actually do anything about the problem, which undermines the 'agency' aspect of social movements

Primarily Christian. I used to say Christian conservative because I associated the two. But growing up I saw through the bullshit that while conservatives are the lesser of two evils, both left and right have aspects that are either against Christian morality or Christian charity. The Left wants the destruction of the Church and the Right wants to subordinate it to Israel. So that’s my true belief. The Right gets more things right because it’s not completely motivated by sexual degeneracy and the Jewish cultural chaos fetish. But they too go too far in some things like opposing some reasonable government programs for poor people. Voluntary charity and the unchanging moral standard are where both sides get some right but a lot wrong.

On the one hand my ideal political system would be a national socialist one that encouraged each citizen to be the best version of themselves they could be- not only for themselves but for their family, their community, and their nation. The country would be moral, but allow for a degree of indiscretion so long as it was done in private. There would be clear social hierarchies based on aptitude and intelligence, but the importance of each segment of the populace for the functioning of the whole would be recognized, and labour market incentives would be designed to promote single income households. Self-sufficency would of course be prioritized over consumption, and the country would value and preserve nature and natural beauty, not only to steward its resources, but to ensure that its majesty would always be there to inspire future generations.
On the other hand I recognize that establishing and maintaining such a nation is a pipe dream at best, so I'm happy to settle for a Federal system (burger ofc) where social policies are decided as locally as practically possible, where private property is sacrosanct, and where anyone trying to set up a monopoly of any kind is treated like a wannabe king would have been in the Roman Republic.

Profit is hoarded and drains the economy, there is no such thing as a "business owner," you're just exploiting labor from people who have no other option. Owners are worthless and provide nothing by definition. Everyone should be paid equally and fairly, and nothing else makes the remotest bit of sense.

like medieval times when it comes to societal norms and standards, people give the medieval period a lot of shit but it was actually a very nice spot in history to live in…especially the late periods, contrary to popular belief literacy rate wasn’t low at all, the people just weren’t considered literate because they couldn’t read in Latin which was the scholarly main language, however books and poems were accessible to basically everyone, and it’s estimated that at least one person per household knew how to read and write, we know this from letters we have between peasants and these letters seem more articulate then most abstract sciences(humanities) essays I’ve read on a fucking university level, the morality of that period was also superior to our current one, as loyalty and a man’s word was heavily valued, physical fitness was encouraged and working was seen as not only respectable and worthy of praise but very much a fun activity that people devoted themselves to.
If people don’t have a king and a god to praise they’ll just praise someone else: athletes,celebrity’s,actors, millionaires gangsters and even famous prostitutes,humans need hierarchy and the medieval period provided that, besides it’s good and pleasant to know that at least in a few periods in history something as simple as a sword could take you anywhere in life…
