The normal approach to it. Everyone has intrusive thoughts (though some more than others), but a healthy mind can discard them as the rubbish they are. Imo, most mental illnesses are nothing else but being unable to ignore intrusive thoughts, and they only differ by what kind of intrusive thoughts said person is having.

On one hand, feminine male bottoms have always been present in society and likely always will be. Transsexuality is just the latest intersection that this phenomena has with culture and technology. 200 years ago they would have been members of a theatre troupe or in the clergy.
Trans FTM's are kind of a new thing and will likely ruin the party for the much more legitimate MTF experience.
Can repression work? probably. the human body is really adaptable. If you set conditions for yourself and expend enough energy to maintain them then yeah, the human body can get used to just about anything.
is it a mental illness? probably for some. But we're past the point where society needs every biological male to become a man. You don't really need big biceps to push paper in an office somewhere.
Yall ever spoke to a tranny? almost all of them agree that their mating prospects got better since transitioning. more chicks. hotter chicks. So I think theres a lot of mostly sane dudes in the mix as well, just following their genetic impulses. Just a gimmick to help themselves out.
