It looks good but tastes like crap The rice is fucking flavourless and bland as hell.
The food has a nice aesthetic look to it which makes it appealing but tastes like utter crap the only ones that actually tastes good is the chicken katsu curry and gyoza dumpling thats about it.
Idk why the media over exaggerates on how delicious it is.(movies, anime, etc)

I spit on european food bland shit. Nothing but potatoes, mayo, sausage. With the exception of italy and spain which i agree have amazing dishes.
From asian i only tried chinese food which i liked. I love the fried rice fried noodles dumpling and sichuan noodles
