If you broke down the arguments against transgenderism (which should correctly be called gender dysphoria, and is shockingly still this in the DSM, but will be removed just like homosexuality was), people would realize they're just parroting what the loudest crowd is (the media) and it makes no sense.

It was pushed at first on tumblr. Where emotionally damaged white girls who got raped as kid went to make escapism fantasy shit. As the site grew more people began seeing these dipshit ideologies either organically or ironically, until they were normalized. And when gamergate happened it all got tied up even more in nerd escapist culture.
