Throttled roads

People are speeding too much and do not care about their own lives, what I present to you is throttled roads.
Roads that are slightly bumpy which forcefully reduce the maximum speed of vehicles going over them, by reducing friction between the tires.
This will stop traffic jams and prevent accidents and will be cheaper to maintain.

People in the country don't have accidents nearly as much as city people ... in fact rhe corrugated roads that you proposed is much of the reason for this.

The high speed makes people more alert to danger and pay more attention, like a round-about does compared to traffic lights. The more attention you pay the less accidents there are. Ironically the mandatory speed limit should be 100klms everywhere.

That's just a farm road. The faster you go the less bumpy those tractor ruts become.

This. Although I have no idea how fast "100klms per hour" is, in my experience these corrugated roads are driveable below 25mph and faster than 50mph. Anywhere from 30-45 is going to vibrate every nut and bolt of your car loose and be very noisy and difficult to drive. When you blast down the road at high speeds, the rumbling harmonizes and it becomes smooth again.

Its fascinating how many city people only drive over 80 a max of two times a yeah, when on vacation.

I go over these shit dirt roads when I visit my friend and I can feel a month shaved off my cars suspension each time. Fuck those shitty bumpy roads. I thought they were just naturally forming like that not some assholes design.

I've lived in nj/ny for 30 years and just recently moved to nc and everyone does 90+ on the highway here and there are less accidents than coastal shitty urbanites
