Well, i guess i'll just vent it here, got no better place for it. I'm russian, never supported Putin. I remember waking up on march 24th from a barrage of notifications on the phone, then saying to my girlfriend "seems like Putin had began a war with Ukraine", remember people at work being nervous and scared, monitoring newsfeeds and exchange rates. Several days later I went to protest, got caught, spent 2 days in a police cell sleeping on a wooden bench without food or water, then denied lawyer and sentenced to N days administrative arrest and convoyed 250 km away, because all nearer jails were full with other protesters. When I was released i've read some news on my way back and caught myself on a thought, that i want back in. Remember realizing, that more than half of my friends have left the country.
Today i see reports on civilians mass-executed in Irpin and Bucha. Seems like i'll be treated the same way as a nazi-era german for the rest of my life, either consciously or subconsciously, for a tragedy that i failed to prevent. It feels awful, and generally i think, i'm loosing it because more than a month have passed and it doesn't get better.
