Christians of Any Forums, give me a qrd on the main sects and the differences between them, like Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant, though I know further divisions exist.
I'm trying to study religions, and I have considerable knowledge about Dharmic religions and Islam due to their influence here, but Christianity seems to be declining worldwide, and the Christians in India seem to be simply LARPing, so I never bothered.

damn, this thread's gonna die
The sects are dying from their own lack of faith. Experiential Christianity is restoring the practice.
Mormons are demons.
Friendly reminder that most hate against "Christianity" is justified by it having nothing to do with Jesus in the first place; The catholic church is a globohomo tool and worships demons; And most other denominations hide behind the name "christian" but are all just another form of islam, jews, buddhist..
True Christianity means trusting on Christs sacrifice, that he has already paid the price for your sins.
Here are the various forms of "faith alone" that trick people:
It's by faith alone, but you also must turn from your sins
It's by faith alone, but true faith is never alone
It's by faith alone, but it's a faith that works
It's by faith alone, but you must make Jesus the Lord of your life
It's by faith alone, but you receive the new birth in water baptism
It's by faith alone, but it has to be a 'heart faith' rather than a 'head faith'
It's by faith alone, but you must keep the Law or the Sabbath
It's by faith alone, but you can't just live however you want
It's by faith alone, but if you don't have good works you never truly believed
It's by faith alone, but if you misbehave you give back your Salvation
It's by faith alone, but if you disagree with my doctrine you couldn't be saved
It's by faith alone, but if you're truly saved, there will be some change in your life
It's by faith alone, but if someone is truly saved they won't live in sin
It's by faith alone, but faith encompasses obedience to Christ
It's by faith alone, but if you ever stop believing you never really believed at all
It's by faith alone, but if you can't stop a certain sin, you were never truly saved
Works don't save you, but if you don't have them, you aren't truly saved
Works don't save you, but they prove that your faith is genuine
Salvation is a gift, but it will cost you everything
Salvation is a gift, and all you have to do is give your life/heart to Christ.
Salvation is absolutely free, all you have to do is repent of your sins
the problem is that 95%+ of ""christians"" are on their road to hell
>Catholic
Subverted by (((Freemasons)))
>Orthodox
Subverted by (((Bolsheviks)))
>Protestant
Subverted by (((Zionists)))
Most are subverted at this point. Christianity is about to come back in a big way though, God is calling his people back.
Dare to explain how?
forgiveness please sir
here is the gospel which is the message of the old and new testament
youtu.be
please redeem your free salvation sir
it basically comes down to this; You are getting saved by faith alone on the finished Work of Christ on the Cross, now when you add any of the stuff i posted up there - which is the case in almost any church nowadays - you have them adding their own works through a backdoor, if you want i can elaborate
they are trusting their works to get into Heaven instead of trusting in Jesus
From my understanding, faith without works is dead. So Christians should show the fruits of their faith with mutual cooperation with the Holy Spirit that God has sent to the believer.
the only thing i disagree on here is the part that verbal confession / a prayer is required; the moment you actually have faith you automatically called out in your hearth already, even if you don't form that chain of words
faith without works is dead because its useless to those around you if you keep being a degenerate
a body is dead, it still exists, its still a body
if faith is dead, it still exists, its still faith
and faith is what gets you into heaven, regardless if it shows fruits or not
nvm i think we are on the same page
dead faith is still saving faith and cant make you suddenly stop being a child of God once you believed on Jesus
all good, happy Saturday user
>ultra catholic uncle died in freak accident before I could share gospel with him
>pretty sure he is in Hell now
>me feeling God will hold me accountable for not sharing it with him sooner
please share the gospel with at least one family member today anons
What I don't understand is how do I repent exactly and "believe in the finished work of Christ"? Like say I have an inkling of doubt in my mind and I can't shake it; how do I get rid of that?
its natural for new christians to have doubt
you can wrack your brain bad on "do I believe hard enough?!?!?"
the way to think of it is this, if by chance you did die today and were suddenly face to face with God on His throne and He asks you why should you be let into Heaven, what would your answer be?
if its anything other than "Jesus Christ paid for all of my sins." you are going to the smoking section of the afterlife
to help quell doubt get plugged into a Bible believing church, read your Bible daily, and pray of course
