The US fought two wars in the Middle East over two decades and loss disproportionately less troops than casualties they inflicted on the enemy. If it’s a defeat, it’s only technically a defeat, and certainly a pyrrhic “victory” for the Afghans.

Israel is the next super power. Surrounded by enemies yet, btfo of all of them. They use other countries for their gain both east and west.

For global superpower it's a total defeat. Victory is not about how many poor goatfuckers with rusty AK you killed, but about achieving a certain goals - territory control, establishing a government who not fall for couple of days without your troops, etc.

The withdrawal from Afghanistan was an embarrassment but I don't think it has caused any lasting damage. If anything it's one money sink less.
