Is Russia actually pulling back, or is it just repositioning its forces.

imagine reading a twitter cope dissertation

Russian objective was never to attack Kiev in force
Look at the cities they have
they do not want to destroy Kiev
They want Kiev

The plan was from the start to destroy the Ukrainian military and force a diplomatic concession in their favor
Not take every city in Ukraine by force

Ukraines plan was to resist as long as possible and hope Russia collapses before the Russian objectives are completed

My assessment is that the Russian plan is going more or less according to plan
Moderately higher losses than expected
Higher resistance than expected
but over all going as planned

They're in a state of total collapse
Jewtin will be deposed within the month

Is a retreat, by there is nothing wrong with retreating.
The notion that retreating is "defeat" was what caused the germans to lose the second world war. They never retreated and only advanced, ending up with a stretched front.
Retreating and regrouping are part of military strategy.

>They want Kiev
then why are they retreating before it?
>My assessment is that the Russian plan is going more or less according to plan
I like how you try and talk like the ISW. ahahahahaha!

they are going to take all of Ukraine.
i bet they start fucking with supply lines in western ukraine now

Because urban warefare would destroy Kiev, and they don't have the resources to fight 3-4 major urban campaigns
They want to take Kiev over time without firing a shot

did you draw those arrows yourself?

also I don't know what the ISW is
nigger 🔥

>hey want to take Kiev over time without firing a shot
it's TOTALLY working!

all you have to ask is, if putin could start the invasion all over again, would he take a do-over? obviously he would, because this has been a military disaster.
russia still doesn't have control of the airspace
where are the heavy bombers?
why are they engaging in skirmishes with a defender who has better knowledge of terrain and real-time intelligence from nato?
i'm not convinced this war will hurt the ruble much, but it's not doing any favors for russia's military exports...countries are going to look at this and think long and hard about ordering ruskie shit. basically undoes all the good stuff they did in syria.

i figured and assess you to be a moron

Putin plans for decades
Americans plan for the next day
You leaders plan for a year ahead at most

Putin doesn't have decades, and have no clear successor, he went in to guarantee Russia as the major exporter os gas and oil to Europe, since he failed to diversify the Russian economy and the demographic spells doom for the federation.

In a few decades there will probably not even be a Russia as we know it.

>In a few decades there will probably not even be a Russia as we know it.
You're correct
It will be far greater than it is now

Tell me, baboon boy, in a few decades where do you think the USA and Western Europe will be?

would russia announce they were pulling some guys back if they were retreating?

how did those decades of planning work out? no plan survives first contact with the enemy and this shit proved it

>Is Russia actually pulling back
Just a prank, bro. April Fools

Most truthful way to put is that they are forced to repositioning.
