I already pay enough taxes so that tyrone can and miguel can live for practically free and have no desire to pay more. Also not everyone deserves healthcare i.e. someone obese should not be able to fund their insulin for type 2 diabetes via my time and money

We spend money on our military to protect these obedient countries, they spend their money to keep all their socialized programs to keep a self sense of superiority but when shit hits the fan they beg for help.

Our country spent the last 2 years warning that our system will collapse because its unsustainable. Plus, since all doctors are paid by the government, they make shit money and just go fuck off to the states so we're understaffed too.

I was pro universal health care until the vaccine mandates started. Then it became obvious to me that Biden would have immediately cut off health care to anyone who refused the vaccine, and I realized that giving the government control over your health care gives them a terrifying amount of control over your life. While I still thinking everyone is entitled to affordable health care, I don't see why we need to put the government in charge of everything. Why not just go to a doctor when you're sick and pay cash?

All the arguments you will hear on here will basically boil down to "i dont want to pay for niggers and fat people" and excuses made to justify that. Republicans have nothing else other than greed and racism to back this view.

This. Most Canadians don't even have a family doctor. If you need to see a specialist you'll wait 1+ year. I am not against it, but here it sure is shit. I think if there was a minimum fee like in some other countries it might work better. In Taiwan for example, you'll pay 100$ to see a doctor but it's immediate and it includes whatever tests they need to do.
