Christianity is the most "if you kill your enemies, they win" religion of them all so regardless of what it says it'll lose the fight on purpose if it means getting to maintain Christianity's prepetual victim complex. Christianity celebrates moral superiority, not victory. Victory is almost antithetical to Christianity, since someone who loses gets to be the victim and can therefore be comfortable that they are the morally superior oppressed victim in a situation. Think, if there is an all-knowing, all-loving god, then clearly the world is innately just and fair. From this basis it's not a big leap that humans are all equal. The traditional Christian view that the world is inherently just and evil is the anomaly created by man made social constructs is the logical, natural evolution of Christian thought. Western liberals are literally the continuation of this line of thinking, they've just followed the logic so hard the actual Christian part of it became unnecessary to the ideology. The view that civilization is a small boat sitting in a dark sea of man's worst degenerate impulses (think John Calhoun's Mouse Experiment) makes no fucking sense in a world made by an all-loving, all-powerful god.
