tfw you are so out of the loop that you're not sure which of the threads are shilling for which side 👀 can't you guys just be neutral instead of being hell-bent of any of the one narratives? you know that neither side is the absolute truth? 🤔
Daily reminder: Latvian/Estonian shills are literally niggers. They were serfs for Baltic German nobles in the 1800s and then in 1905 they had a MASSIVE chimpout and burnt down entire cities like BLM. They don't deserve your YOU's

1/3 There is too much shitposting and coping in this thread, which makes /chug/ not as comfy as it used to be. If anyone is interested, let's try to have a serious discussion and analyze the situation from a rational perspective. Let's talk about where we are now, what happens next and where it is likely to end. Current situation: Obviously, plan A for Russia didn't work. There haven't been any gains for weeks. There is a full retreat from Kiev to the east, confirmed by Russian MoD. Which is terrible news, considering the battles for Gostomel were particularly bloody and Russian forces paid a lot to take it. Russian Belograd was bombed by Ukrainian helicopters on Russian territory. Which on itself is a terrible humiliation, but what's worse is that the helicopters managed to escape. Mariupol is still under siege and apparently Russians couldn't even enforce a no fly zone over Mariupol, since out of 5 helicopters flying over the city, they managed to shoot down only 2. The only win they seem to have this day is an ukie colonel getting caught with a tranny. Which is admittedly funny, but won't help them in their war efforts. cont.
baltics are only good for their cheap booze, nothing else. without alcohol baltics would be nothing

2/3 What's next: Concentrating all they have and putting a large kotel on Donbass. They absolutely need to bring control over the whole area, then possibly make Kherson an independent republic. The absolutely worst case is that they stop there and sign some kind of peace treaty. Best case for Russia is getting Nykolaev and then Odessa to landlock Ukraine. But again, that's the very best case they can hope for. Taking Kiev is out of the question now as even after successfully taking the east, Russia has no longer any resources to besiege and take Kiev. Without taking Kiev there won't be "denazification", they won't be able to install a russian friendly government, and Nato will keep supplying ukies with arms. Russians will go home but the conflict will get frozen rather than be over. People on new DPR borders will keep getting shelled for the next 10-15 years or so, until Russia decides it is time to try again.
