Russians are moving all of their forces to the Donbass for a massive assault to 'liberate' it. I'm guessing after the Ukrainian forces there have been destroyed both countries will settle for peace and the country gets cut in half. Mariupol is a huge loss for Ukraine since it's basically "the" industrial port city. Not that much of it is left at this point, but still.

Not at all. In Stalingrad the German lines around the city were thin and weak. The Soviets were able to flank the Germans and attack them from outside the city. The Germans did not lose at Stalingrad from resistance inside the city, but rather the counterattacks that came from the steppes to the north and south.
There is no hohol counter attack coming to save Mariupol. LOL
