I read it was heavily because Parisians truly hated the Hugonouts so much it was "unreal" and they were appalled that one of their good Catholic princesses was marrying said group. So when they saw the royal guards rounding up political leaders they deemed it was time to join in on the fun.

The Armenians had drunk their own kool-aid from the 90s war and honestly thought they were unbeatable on land. The worst part of their performance wasn't even the drones but the fact that despite all their defensive advantages they niggered up their front so much the Azeris were able to turn their flank and cut their supply lines and that's what actually ended the war. The Azeris could into superior manoeuvre and the Armenians were LARPing as Soviets on the tactical level but not the operational one.
