When I was growing up, my parents told me to always assume guys want sex from me, so I should be n my guard to a certain extent and try not to string them along.
My dad told me I was pretty and smart and I could do anything (giving me confidence and drive to succeed in the workplace). He also taught me the importance of hard work, showed me how to fix things like my car. Also made sure I would call him if ANYTHING happened to me, even if I took drugs (he told me about his days doing it), if I was drinking he would give me beer, let me invite friends over so I wouldn't be in the street or a random party.
My mother taught me modesty, quiet strength as she worked at the hospital, saved lives, worked night shifts and raised 2 kids with my dad not really helping. She also taught nutrition and working out so I wouldn't be a fatty.
I wish she would have taught me to be more feminin and to want kids cause I really don't want to have them.
