HORTICULTURE MAJOR HERE AND PROUD

When talking about university, you guys are always going on about STEM this and STEM that. How about I put my STEM in your wife's fucking ass! Faggets. I'm going into the vertical farming industry and i did not vote last election (I have to put this so the jannies don't nuke the thread) Enjoy working for FAGMAN/Fortune 500 company where you wither away behind a keyboard for 40 years. I'm going to be living the dream growing truckloads of arugula, providing JOBS to BOLSTER this ECONOMY. I'll have sexual relations with your daughters when they see how many tomatoes I can grow, ORGANIC, NO GMO, WITH 95% LESS WATER AND RUNNING MY LED LAMPS OFF SOLAR POWER. Vertical farms are the future.

Also general college/university thread. Discuss majors and which one you are in/were in

You have to be 18 to post here, kid

but youre a Dudeweed

Horticulture major here, what school did you go to? Prove you're not a LARPer and tell me something only other Hort fags would know.

This poster only has a high school education

Are agriculture and horticulture not science because of plant science?

>Discuss majors and which one you are in/were in
college is gay and so are you

That's cool. Call me when you own your own business and have the ability to feed people like me, fuck stick.

You have to suck 13.5 dicks to pass hort 101

Am not, I'm just bullshitting, I hate the dudeweeds probably more than you

I dropped out of high school. Your move, kid

I majored in FUCKING YOUR ASS
But I found there was too much fibre sticking to my dick so I fell back on my minor in personal training which was useful for then I trained YOUR LITTLE SISTER to be my personal fuck toy.

That sounds super comfy user.
I'm proud of (you).

Then how do you know you have to suck 13.5 penises to pass hort 101

Do you need to touch dirt or do you use something less messy? What's your starting salary? Is there jobs? Seems comfy

Starting a vertical farm is a great idea, i think about doing that too. Keep it up, OP!

>growing lettuces under artificial lighting
yeah.... no. do you even μM/m^2/s bro?

HORTICULTURE MAJOR HERE PROVE YOU ARE NOT A LARPER I WILL KNOW IF YOU ARE LYING!

good luck pulling a few million out your anus to fund your spaceman greenhouse

KNF or kill yourself

Ok i'm not a horticulture major but I am thinking of switching to that. Would you recommend it?

>HORTICULTURE MAJOR
Growing anything is like following a recipe for baking a cake.
Get to know X plant's needs.
X amounts of water, light, nutrients in what ratio, ph&ec and type soil/medium, and moisture in air, at X part of growth cycle.
Harvest when X criteria are filled.
There, I saved a student loan.
Thats all you need to know about growing anything, and most of these recipes could be 1-3 pages long at the most.
What a load of shit.

>horticulture
there's an odd interpretation of that word in the US. horitculture is the study and growing of flowers. but it seems to have translated into agriculture. woked'ed?

Apiculture is a billions times better

I've done this before. You don't have any experience in the field, or you wouldn't be talking about how great it is, because it isn't. I encourage you to follow this dream, because A) I warned you, and B) you are a faggot and this judgement error will prevent you from procreating, which is good for everyone you will need to build and maintain the shitloads of gear and chemicals required to produce your first, flavorless, lettuce leaf.

Isn't agricultural science considered part of STEM? It is a useful science degree which has real world applications unlike art and shit. I don't understand what OP is trying to say

Well thanks for being honest user. My Hort classes at a Big Ag school were kinda shit. Many of my professors even recommended to just get a two year Hort degree and experience instead. In the world of horticulture experience is king. Depending on your school it could be different but I did some time at Colorado State and they sucked balls. I did get some good knowledge on stuff like plant propagation and botany. I personally think botany is better to study but tons of math and chem classes. I won't dox myself anymore but lets just say i am very familiar with food factories and vertical farming. My old University could care less. They suck Big Ag(Conagra) dick and are all about that chemical feed mono culture. AKA the fertilizer jew. Vertical farming is the future hands down.
