The thing that throws it off, is how close the horizon looks. On earth you have to look out several miles, on the moon it's probably like 1 mile or so.

How far away is the background hill?
The separation between the fore and back isn't exactly a clean line, why isn't it possible that the 2 fore ground objects are to the left and right of each other? That would still leave the background hill with the same perspective and could explain the fore ground objects.
