With Russia having biggest disaster in all army history, I think China has shown the world why they are the second toughest army in the world stage.
No longer will Russia be consider a threatening, it is garbage dump with nuclear and we do not even aware if their nuclears are working. However, Chinese army has better technologies and would have taken Ukraine in few weeks.
Time to admit that Russia is complete messy and that Chinese army is the ONLY competition the United State has on planet earth.

You know why Russia was considered strong? Because aside from small-scale blunders like Syria it was generally not proven to be bad.
Same with China.
What matters is actual, modern war experience. Testing your military doctrine on the field. Russia had little of that and/or never took these lessons to heart. China has literal no experience.

You're making the same mistake that Putin did. Ukraine's military performed badly in 2014-15. Then they reformed and expanded. Putin assumed the invasion would be just like back then. And just like Ukraine's military reformed itself, so will Russia's after this.

First China has zero experience with war. Second Russia is taking over eastern Ukraine without destroying everything unlike America would do. I don't see how you could call this war disaster. Yes, they had some big problems in first few days. China without doubt can use Zerg rush tactics. However everything else is mystery. Russia has maybe too much experience with wars. Since 1914 to 2014 they had WW1, WW2, Afghanistan, Chechna and Syria. I am sure they learned from Afghanistan and will never put themself in same position again.
Interesting that now America and NATO has 2 rivals. I will not even bother with European armies because they are only usefull agaist villagers. Australia would probably join America in bigger conflict. But bigger conflict would escalate to nuclear or something worse pretty fast. America is still strong but losing its prestige fast.
