Does anyone else find it scary how everyone (everyone) fell for COVID before the race riots started and it became a liberal vs. conservative thing?
In March 2020 it was very apparent that only the elderly and morbidly obese were dying but you could not convince anyone that it wasn't as big as they were making it out to be. I remember telling a friend that the government was going to pull something along the lines of martial law and they looked at me like I was insane... and a week later the lockdowns began, and of course they followed suit.
It really took until mid-2021 for a sizeable amount of people to realize it was bullshit, outside of boards like this, solely due to conservative media changing their talking points. Even this board became doomsday prepper central in the early months. Next time it will be worse and everyone will follow without second thought, all over again.

The public reaction to COVID made me finally lose my faith in mankind. I would rather go innawoods at this point than fight the normalfags that ate this shit up.
>Does anyone else find it scary
No. People are easy to brainwash and desperate to take sides. People's lives are so boring they seek drama where there isn't one so covid was a gift from heaven to them. They got to pretend they were on the "good side" for spreading lies and fearmongering about it (despite the fact they never leave their homes so it's not like covid would ever affect them) and have good boy points on social media.
People have always been like this, with any issue really, even shit like "Earth is round!" "No it's flat!" has people take pride on themselves over picking sides and seeing the opposition as a mortal enemy despite the shape of Earth being completely irrelevant to anyone's life.
This. Ironically it helped my social anxiety because now I can just remind myself most people are NPCs and I stop giving a shit about them entirely
There was even a "I'm not taking the Trump vaccine" viewpoint.
>desperate to take sides
good point and good definition
Speak for yourself, I never fell for covid. I knew it was a hoax from day 1.
I lost all my racism after 2020. All that matters is God and freedom.
and we're already on to the next mass-media production: Ukraine. And so it goes on and on and on. Like planets around a star--or water circling the drain.
Biden even said it.
My dad is talking about getting his second booster today. I'm going to try and show him the Pfizer data. He has a central line midline PIC line type thing right now and his mother had a stroke like this...
Sometimes I think they want to die.
>Even this board became doomsday prepper central in the early months
because there were videos out of china of people dying and going insane and bleeding everywhere
which we now understand is just how chinese people act
won't work again
majority of Any Forums never fell for it. early one there were a lot of people warning that we needed to prepare for the govt reaction not the virus.
Same. Even if it was not a hoax allowing your government total control over your life is insane, regardless of the consequences. Libertarians have that right.
I remember
those were the days
There was many retards pushing for lockdowns but maybe they were just shills.
>Even this board became doomsday prepper central in the early months.
and it's blackpilling for me to realise I remained with a prepper mindset until like early 2021.
That's an entire year of falling for a meme scam.
I actually had like hundreds of 3m n99, not just n95 masks stocked up by Jan 2020 alone
kek that was just a typical day in china, who woulda thought?
I was at a lockdown protest in California two weeks before the Floyd riots and we had a greater police presence than the first violent black demonstrations.
The race riots kicked off right around the time the right was protesting lockdown mandates. Muh hair cuts.
Couldnt you just check out some papers of actual epidemiologists you giant faggot?
The media ran an antivax-shaming campaign starting in Jan 2019 to socially engineer receptiveness to the new vaccines. Every single day on reddit and twitter was an artificially promoted antivax-shaming article and people competed for updoots by declaring their unwavering support for the science. You would have to be a complete idiot to think this shit was coincidental.
The public has been feminized to the point that threat assessment becomes impossible. Statistics and probabilities are not in the hysterical female toolkit. So wearing your mask forever and taking your next booster becomes the NPC norm.
I instantly knew it was horsehit because I knew disease only afflicts unhealthy people and the fact that all illnesses have plummeted to relatively zero in the past 100 years because of better sanitation
A lotta people here were pretty concerned by those crazy vids coming out of china of hallways lined with bodies, card ramming barricades, people welded into their apartments, etc. before covid actually reached the states. Back then the left was insisting that it wasn't a big deal and virtue signalling about anti-Chinese racism or whatever.
