How do I drop out of society for good

Im a broke NEET; Im tired of living in this fucked up system, that seeks to enslave me, dehumanize me, destroy everything I love, every day, every week of every year. I just wanna live quietly in a forest, as far away from man as possible, away from leftists, chimpouts, cars, social media, banks, etc. Dont want any contact with or dependence on civilisation. What would be the best way to accomplish that?

You can check out any time you like
But you can never leave

First step is to stop using the internet

The amount of effort and resources it takes to be an actually competent homesteader, you might as well just spend it trying to do better within society. Building / taking care of a cottage by yourself, growing your own food, etc. aren't easy

This is going to sound harsh but, if you can't make it in the shit world, and leave it voluntarily, you probably can't make it out in the woods. I appreciate your resolve.

If you are serious, take this season and plan your escape. This would include...
>Gathering the necessary tools for your location
>Growing a small garden at your current location to practice this essential skill
>Fasting in speech and food 1 day per week (do not eat, do not speak, do not use the internet or TV) Nothing in and nothing out - learn to isolate who you are.
>Have a plan or you will literally die.

Now what you are gonna do tonight, to give you uplifting feels is watch the following ...

Dick Proenneke basically did what you want, and did it 50 years old - spent 30 years mostly alone in the Alaskan wilderness.

First leave the tiny island you live on
Then go confidently out into some North American wilderness and die because you don’t know what you’re doing and you used the last of your phone battery to ask Any Forums how to light a fire in the woods.

Numbers don't lie op. Do it.

Seriously, you *will* die if you don't have existing skills, not just outdoors skills, literally your mind cannot go from the current level of stimulation to being in the woods in one move - you'll go nuts.

I did 6 weeks out in a tent and it was great, but also a weird sensation having no notifications, no news, no radio etc. and I was with another person.

Buy a book on bushcraft, get some supplies, then wander off into the woods.

This is another shill thread though about the coming recession and how bad the state of the world is. Just ask family and friends for help. If you wander off into the woods you're going to die. Survive long enough to get through the recession and then things will be a lot better. It's going to be a while though. Things are going to be bad for a couple decades. If you're lucky, by the time you're in your 50s things will be better, and you'll have a few decades left to enjoy an easier life.

Going insane isn't a bad thing really. Your mind will find ways to occupy itself. If you're prepared and have supplies you have a pretty good chance at surviving at least for some time, but yeah you'll die. Best to stay in civilization and figure out how to make it through the great reset.

Start checking out /out/ and slowly pushing your comfort zone and getting better at outdoorsy stuff

>you don't have the skills
>you're not smart enough
>you're not strong enough
>you would bitch out after a single night
>you're almost surely out of shape and can't hack the reality of resolve and strength needed to survive full time outdoors
>you don't know how to actually hide in state owned land
>you own none of the materials and you don't know how to use them
>you're dreaming wishing you were awake, as usual
>if you want to die, just do it
tell yourself the truth. that's a higher thing in your life.

a book on bushcraft? how the fuck is that supposed to help exactly? if you're intending to survive in the woods, you require countless hours out there, being trained by someone. ideal is to be born there and do it your whole life, picking things up, and practicing as time goes on. if you're going to pretend, you might as well watch some video on youtube. same LARP without the effort this fag isn't going to put into it.

you're going to die even with the existing skills. going into the woods is the king of all LARPs, dreamed only by people who have zero experience because they have no concept of what it means.

How very demoralizing, for what purpose? I agree that the majority of those who seek what OP claims to seek are woefully unprepared, but why demoralize instead of simple suggesting he would have a lot of preparing and learning to do before he attempts such a feat?

You add nothing to the discussion and your psychic vampirism is self-serving.

OP
Reasonable responses balancing idealism and support with cold truth, you will not survive if unprepared and surviving that lifestyle will be a gauntlet the likes of which 99%+ of humanity is no longer accustomed to. We have been softened, begin hardening yourself now and focusing every bit of your spare effort and energy in preparations. If your resolve is as strong as you claim, you have a lot of work and study to do.

it's not demoralizing when the dream is fake.
it's the truth, people like him need to hear it. he's not going to acquire the skills even within a decade to survive even a single year out there.
the sooner he understands, the better. anyone who facilitates that shit is doing far more harm.
I know more than you.

An eye opener for me is what happens to friends/family when the internet goes out. It's like - they unplug and feel lost. I think there are certainly physical skills that cannot be ignored, but literally the modern human CANNOT survive a cold disconnect from their usual stimulus, we've never been so unprepared for what OP is proposing. I personally practice one day a week of no screen and I used to do one day of no speech or input, it's so much harder than people assume - OP would be better to just get a tent now and go out in the woods for a day, then a week, etc.

yes go out in tents for a day, week, etc.
after several years you'll be okay... at camping.

I try to be solution oriented, you may as well tell OP to kill themselves.

OP is still 1 post by this ID

I am telling them that.
there is absolutely no difference to pretending to go out there without skills and committing suicide.
if that's the goal, then just do it.
if you really want to get out there, it's beyond an escape hatch for a quick dream.
there's no pussy way to put it. there's nothing else except the truth about it.
I strongly encourage him to go train and practice and learn things in the woods. it will provide him with purpose, meaning, and value that he can use to survive the life he wants to avoid.
