the fact that mariupol is still holding out is ridiculous, even leningrad had some minimal resupply over the lake during the siege

I actually believe it, with how much money that has been embezzled and stolen from the military, it would make sense that they keep the lie going. But we won't know the truth until after all of this is over. I don't like to get ahead of myself.

BREAKING
>BREAKING (TASS): German Chancellor Scholz and Russian President Putin have agreed to hold talks on gas purchases for roubles.

Russian state media announced that they are finished with phase 1 (despite not doing anything of note) and now focussing on liberating Donbass. The whole idea of trying to take Kyiv? according to shills, it was a diversionary operation. The russians sent their best troops to die to take a city they never wanted, just so their shit troops could dig in at the territory they already have. Also, Russian officials say they will cut back military operations at Kyiv to make sure the peace talks go smoothly, despite everyone with half a brain knowing that they are simply trying to regroup.

Delivering bad news (that is your fault) to a guy that can kill you with 0 consequences is bad for long-term health so you massage things to be more palatable.
Then when things don't improve you massage some more. "Good" corrupt politicians can do this in such a way that they're never lying but the picture they paint is 100% wrong. USSR during WW2 was famous for this and continued throughout the USSR.
In Russia, bearers of bad news get punished and made responsible for the mess. They've been like that since the tsars, all the way through USSR, now back to tsars.

>Delivering bad news (that is your fault) This. They stole the money that was supposed to pay for influencing Ukraine, but still reported that Ukrainians are now friendly to Russia, becaues they didn't think anyone would face-check it.

>Putin pussied out of the gas embargo What a cuck. That's giving us more time to become independent of him. If China's and Russia's master plan is to make Western countries more independent of them while also uniting them, they are fucking retarded.
