They bought Star Wars and are having immense difficulty merchandising an IP which prints money, purely because they have a vocal minority in select positions of power making decisions. It's not long term profitable, and we all know it. Half of Disney's properties can't get to original capacities, which is the only reason why Disney World is overflowing. It's tourists from out of state and recent COVID refugees who have moved to Florida and are enjoying the novelty of Disney world being in their home.

There is a recession on the horizon. People are about to tighten their belts hard, and you'll notice the average Floridian, hell the average person, is repelled by the vocal minority representing Disney. There's a solid chance within the next 5 years they'll be seeing financial challenges which will make Disney long for the difficulties they faced in the Pre-Eisner era.
