Based Plato changed my view on gay sex

Hi Any Forums, I used to be absolutely against homosexuality in any form as it is an anti-social practice that serves no purpose other than hedonistic pleasure and helps spread diseases among the population. But this is kinda of a simplistic view, it presupposes some homogeneity among gay relations that is not true, by reading Plato not only I learned that some specific forms of homossexuality can be virtuous but even more virtuous than heterosexual relations:

The argument is posed by one of the characters in the symposium:
>There are different forms of erotic love
>Erotic love of a man for a woman or a child is an unvirtuous form of love since both women and children are inferior beings to men
>Erotic love for a child or a woman is just moved by base lust, but the ones practicing it will cope by pretending that it is true love while in reality they are only coomer degenerates
>true good erotic love needs to be moved by true admiration for your partner
>since man are the superior being they are worthy of true admiration, by being the bottom for some virtuous heroic chad you are pleasing a virtuous man and thus practicing true good erotic love
>meanwhile the virtuous top can teach the younger and less experienced the ways of virtue and turn him into a good man until he turns into a heroic virtuous man himself
>the cycle continues, generating lots of virtuous man

Thus, love for virtuous man who you truly admire is actually the most based form of love. Lesbians are a meme tho, they are just a porn category so they don't matter for the argument.

Congrats on being a fag. Tell your family and post their response

ok groomer

Let's sex already

Literally why Greeks and Romans throughout history had male companions. Alexander the great literally had a male lover.

>mental gymnastics
>>cope by pretending that it is true love while in reality they are only coomer degenerates
>projecting

You Brazilians have like a "Free Society ".

And yet all homos I've ever met were the least virtuous people imaginable. Lying, cheating, binge drinking, drug taking fags.

The virtuous gay man can and should reproduce with a woman, but he should not have sex with her for pleasure based on lust. The role of the women is to reproduce and take care of house affairs like cleaning and cooking and since she is just a baby machine she should be not the true object of love of the gay man. The true object of love should be someone with true virtue(only men are like that) and he should be not only loved but admired and emulated thus producing a more virtuous life.

You can admire something better than human without being gay.

>love for virtuous man

If you are defining this as the love/admiration that a man expresses for another based on his virtue, then where does the erotic part come in? I admire my friends for being good men, sure. I’ve never wanted to fuck them in the ass.

Yes. The homossexuals of today are total degenerates, just like most heterossexuals of today. Just because the practice is being done wrong at the moment id does not imply that it is intrinsically wrong

My dad is a bissexual, he would be ok with it. He is also a much more virtuous man when it comes to sex than my hetero mother who cheated on him and then divorced him.

>T. cringe

homosexuality is intriniscally effeminate as you literally are assuming the womans role.

Yes. I would argue that love for fictional characters that are virtuous is a good thing using similar arguments. But sadly they can't reciprocate our love for them, yet.

>virtuous man
Change this to faggot and it all makes sense

>Zoomer LGBT
>fucked the community so hard, it turned into a political ideology

This is why old gay boomers hated the zoomers because of what they did. Now it's just full of shit

The Symposium is against homosexuality. There are a number of speeches in it from different people, including homosexual, but Socrates' speech is for platonic love (surprise, surprise). In fact, a faggot tries to seduce Socrates and fails, and even busts in towards the end and Socrates dodges him once again.

the woman role is to clean plates, mop the floor and pick fruits, not to pleasure virtuous and heroic men.

You bring up a good point there. In a world where gay guys were to be virtuous and actually live in these Platonic admiration type of relationships, it wouldn’t be a bad thing. That said, it seems homosexuals are not only predisposed for degenerate behavior, but also can create more homosexuals by molesting children, and spread degeneracy that way. I’d respect any based right wing gay guy who wanted to change that, and spread virtue in the gay community, but idk.

Fag sex is not virtuous. It’s filthy and ugly. Sex with a woman is virtuous because a virtuous person would pass his seed on and continue the human race. A virtuous person doesn’t allow a man to shit on his dick. Plato is just a fucking pederast.

then explain why they lost

The anus is not a vagina. It is destructive to the fag penetrating an anus and it is destructive to the fag having his rectum resized. You are a degenerate

pilpul at its finest.

An I the only one in this thread who has actually read the Symposium? It really isn't pro-homosexual.

Yes, Alcibíades was rejected by Socrates, but Socrates never implies that he is against the idea of virtues sex between men. The argument I am using does not come either from Socrates or Alcibíades but from Pausanias, the lover of Agathon the based Poet.
